Recently, An exhibition devoted to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau was held in the Museum of Fine Arts of China. The exhibition was jointly organized by China Association for Protection and Development of Tibetan Culture, the Union of Artists of China, the Museum of Fine Arts of China and the Metropolitan Pedagogical University. It is the largest thematic exhibition dedicated to the realities of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau since the founding of New China.
The exhibition featured more than 500 works, which belong to different periods. These included the works of Chinese painting, oil painting, engraving and sculpture, whose authors – artists of different nationalities, including those from Tibet.
On the opening day there was also the release of the exhibition catalog. The exhibition is important for the study of painting, works in the exhibition reveal the deep culture is shown to the topic, as well as demonstrate the inexhaustible creativity of the Chinese artists.
