BEIJING, November 24. The work of the artist of Guohua (China National Painting) Jiang Chzhaohe “The Chinese people rose to their feetwas sold for over 19.04 million yuan (about 3 million U.S. dollars) by auction in Beijing auction house “Guardian” as Ukrinform reported.
The product was created on October 1, 1949, when Mao Zedong in Tiananmen rostrum in Beijing, announced to the world the founding of New China. It shows the “doves, state flag, and of extreme joy and happiness of the workers and peasants,” wrote “Renmin Ribao”.
The size of the picture is 283 cm in height and 132 cm in width.
This year marks the 60 anniversary of the proclamation of the PRC in connection with which this painting is a particularly of great interest among collectors.
