Central North Korean newspaper “Rodong Sinmun” reported on Wednesday that North Korea “has developed and produced the thermonuclear facilities of our type and completed basic research related to the thermonuclear fusion, founded a solid scientific and technical capacity, which will let master fusion technology”.

North Korea announced its developments, which could potentially to increase the power of its nuclear warheads hundreds of times, a few days later, after its leader Kim Jong Il came in Pekin with an unofficial visit.
